"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." -Semisonic, "Closing Time," Feeling Strangely Fine Apparently updating is a semi-annual thing since it's been almost two years since my last "I can't believe it's been two years!" journal. Such is life. Every time you think you've got it figured out, your feet get knocked out from under you or you get thrown a curve ball and you have to climb back up. BUT, in short: I graduated with my MLS. I went out to Pennsylvania for commencement and it was way cool. Instead of being a broke grad student who happens to work at a library, I am now a broke degreed librarian. Upshot: I've grown

Two Years Later

I can't believe it. Has it really been two years since I've written? (I've been on here more often than that, I swear, I'm just more of a lurker and rarely say anything.) Since my last post, I have enrolled in and completed a bachelor's program and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science, concentration Library Science, and I've got the first semester of grad school under my belt. Only ten classes left to go. I work at the best job in the world, come home and work on homework, knit occasionally, and sleep (but not much.) Hiii! ^3^ It's been SO long! I hope you're well!
Sorry for the late reply. Thank you so much for the fave! :tighthug:
Hey! I randomly logged in (Been a while!) and I'm happy to see that you're still posting stuff! I really need to get some inspiration but it seems like I spend most of my days like this
Hey there! Long time no see, dear! :D I don't post often but I do try. Being a college kid is crazypants.
For inspiration, I highly recommend Cedarhurst Center for the Arts in Mt. Vernon. It's the closest art gallery and I always come back completely pumped up and ready to paint. Their sculpture garden is absolutely stunning, too. If you do go, keep an eye out for the painting "The Table Garden", it's one of my favorites.
That sounds great! I'll have to try to go up there sometime. Maybe I can convince some of my Kentucky friends to take me around Louisville too.
